Safety comes first. After safety, comes floor plan. I am notorious for changing floor plans, if not in reality, in my head. I probably am a wannabe architect, though, I would never have been satisfied more than a week or two with any design.
For small RVs, I found another floor plan that appeals to us in the future RV 30MH25TE to be manufactured by the Canadian RV company, Bigfoot. One thing I like about it is the slightly curved counter, making it a bit easier for two people to stand side by side. The length of the overhead bed, 80″, is another plus, Leon is 6′ tall.
Of course, since we are still able to climb above the cab to sleep, and change being integral part of my nature, I would want to replace the rear side bed with a small TV viewing area, though since I know some beds are built in a manor that wouldn’t work, that might not be possible the way I envision it. But then, I’ve only seen the floorplan for the 30MH25TE, the other information on that model is “Coming Soon”. But, for those who want to sleep there, that bed is,also, 80″… That is great!
But one other great thing for some, I read their RVs are true four season RVs, rather than three season. But, it is on the Ford chassis, so there is not much leg room without twisting for the passenger. Many of you don’t mind that, judging by the number of Ford chassis RVs sold, but it would annoy me mile after mile.
We are still not to the point of buying our RV, only closer, but the journey toward it has had many fun moments.
