like picket fences steel rails protect rivers from humans
but nature cannot be ignored – for long

The wind made me smile today in South Florida, but tonight, my smile headed back to our ‘field trips’ through Washington state. I believe this photo was taken on the way to Leavenworth.

I think we need a quick field trip some 3900 miles away! Good thing we haven’t gotten our RV yet, we may have run away a bit prematurely.
