Perspective

It occurred to me this morning — after being drug into the outskirts of what appeared to be “just” two people having different perspectives, but not seeing the other’s side:

Perspective is a double edged sword, yet if we leap over our respective honed edges, there is a flat surface in the middle for a meeting of the minds.

And that is how I view perspective. Meeting of the minds before honing your perspective edge might be a quicker way of resolving things, though. After all, we don’t want to either implode or cause the other to explode, do we?

One Response to Perspective

  1. You made me stop and consider, because I didn’t “see” it at first (I’m not always that “sharp”). It’s an interesting analogy.
I don’t always practice what I preach, but it was “interesting” at my end to at least have “seen” this “perspective”, Shelly. Anytime I can get you to stop for a second, I’m happy, grin. – MMB
