Photo Poetry

Life is filled with emotion caused not only by interaction with humans or animals, but, also, by interaction with the sky, ocean, earth, wind, rain, snow, sleet, sun, mood, and all I left out. Humans have painted, sculpted, spoke, written, made faces, sung, and danced their emotions a lot longer than I have been around to remember, nor my father, nor his father, and so on. But you know all this, so here’s the point:

As we travel (Yes, that day will get here!), we will be fighting over the camera, I am sure, and, as now, when we share it we will occasionally both lay claim to the same photos, but there will be many. Some will go here. I will start it with photos we took in Washington state the 3 years we were lucky enough to live there.

This page is for the poet in you. No, you don’t have to BE a poet in the way most people think of a poet: just for the moment, feel the photos, observe the details if you wish, but most importantly, absorb the sensations and emotions the photo stirs within you.

Not a poet, write, painter, or musician? No need to do anything with it, just breathe slowly and feel! You are on the honor system to actually do that. Wouldn’t it be cool to remove your daily mask long enough to dig down inside? You may find you breathe better though at first it may choke you up a bit.

Just scroll down for the next photos. Please, honor our copyright on our photos. One of us has taken each of these.
