Responsibility for peace is ours! Yes, it is our responsibility, each human being, to ourselves and the world to brainstorm ways to find peace - and then act on them.
I still believe the words I wrote last year. Click on the globe if you are a new reader, please, I would love to share them with you. As RVers, you have already most likely found a bit of inner peace and seen things in your own country that average people caught up only in their own communities don’t get the chance to see. You have also seen more of others helping others judging by many of your blogs. You are aware that one person can make a difference. You have seen movements grow.
No, I am not an RVer yet, but I am paying attention to what you are sharing.
Mimi’s most recent post summarizing all her research this past month on wars is found here: Dona Nobis Pacem ~ A Revolution of Words.
Many links for other writers on peace are found there. Perhaps reading some of them will take your thoughts on peace in a different direction, one of can do, rather than frustration and hopeless? It is hard, it is going to be hard, but one step at a time will make a difference to someone. It has to.

I realized today that other than a brief mention of C.E.R.T. in a recent post about preparing for full timing, I had not mentioned it on this blog. I wrote about it here, however. Go ahead, read about it. It is a great thing!
And, I personally think all of us should take the course, especially RVers. (Hint. Hint.)

While trying to rename our RV blog from RV Poetry to something that would not scare away non-poets, I reread my short poem, Destination Unknown, found in it’s entirety here. I had remarked on the post, Rvers many days travel to unknown places, yet they remain home in their hearts.
Today I took some exception to it. The words, “remain home in their hearts”, as most of you realize, is referring to home being where your heart is - and I don’t dispute that. However, in reading RVer blogs and meeting a few RVers at shows, I concluded many RVers do not just “remain home in their hearts” — they extend their homes outside of themselves to let others in.
Think of it almost as a mother’s love swelling to encompass more and more children or an animal lover’s heart swelling to bring in more and more animals. The world becomes the RVers home and extended family.
It is not that other people are not capable of doing that or don’t do it, it is that it appears easier for an RVer to do it than a non-RVer.
Will I find that true once we get out there? Perhaps. Perhaps not
