Today, without forethought, I chose to dwell on what we accomplished rather than what we did not. Ironic I had that mind shift on the day people honor the Reverend Martin Luther King, but appropriate, I think.

If you are unlucky enough to have a dryer that vents into the house or condo into a tiny bucket of water, do NOT do as I did and forget to empty it, go away for a week, come back and not do laundry for almost another week. Thank goodness we have powerful Hepa filters in our air cleaners to help combat mold spores — and yes, I’m moving them closer to the utility!  : (

From personal observation over many years, I have repeatedly concluded that if every human being kept their blood sugar levels stable and got sleep, the world would be a better place. So many times I see the results of improper eating habits and lack of sleep on mood, even mine.

  • a helping hand
  • a good thought or wish
  • a prayer

You could, of course, be the one to start the gifting, so it can be regifted again and again… and yet again.
