Everything that I am involved in right now is either chaos or a work in progress, it seems.

I am trying out this new theme, so it will take a while to figure out how to size a few things correctly, bare with me – or is that bear with me? I know there and their and its and it’s and affect and effect, but not bare and bear (in that context). OK, I know one is naked and one is ferocious, although in the right circumstances both could be appropriate words to describe one person!

(Yes, I’ve looked it up, but it does not seem to “stick”!)

It is in change we grow, so why not embrace it? Perhaps, even instigate our own!

Is it that people never change – or – that the change we expect is not one that can be made, but rather an inherent part of their (or our) personality?

I love to play – even at the risk of ruining a blog. Yesterday I played; I exported/imported one mostly unused blog into another. Hmmm. I have two of some posts and not of others. I got brave (or reckless) and deleted files from my CPanel at my host. OK, not so brave as to empty that trash yet, but….

Who knows what damage may show up later, but the duplicate posts remained. And therefore, offer another opportunity to play.

I tried to bring in a second blog, but, alas, the file was too big, and the instructions I found to work around that were too big for my brain to digest at that hour.

Though it should frustrate me immensely, it barely does, for it was done as play. It was not my first nor will it be my last attempt at changing without the knowledge to easily effect it, for play is learning, and as such, we have an excuse to remain young.

Yes, change is ever present in my life, the ones I want, I embrace; the ones I don’t, I pout over a while, but once change is here, it’s here to stay, so I deal with it (or try) –until the next wave of change, brings –

more change.

Yes, I’m effecting change: combining blogs, deleting blogs, rearranging blogs, questioning the act of blogging.

But, if the rumor is true that it is all in the journey, I’m having a great one. Now to continue the journey of paperwork.

Someone close to me brought up their hope for The Year of the Jubilee; they mentioned all debts forgiven, a fresh start for all. I am unconvinced, it is something we must agree to disagree on.

I used to truly believe that everyone on this earth should make the same salary no matter their job because all jobs are necessary and all jobs should be done to the best of our abilities and all work is worthy of  respect, and so on. I was, however, reminded that no matter that we all got paid the same, no matter that our jobs were respected by most if not all, we would still spend our money differently and therefore some would overspend, some would hoard, some would be wise, some unwise, some would consider wants needs and so on… and though we would start on equal footing, people would still – for the most part – fall back into who they chose to be and make mistakes of varying kinds — and though they made the same, the givers would still give, the takers would still take, the stagnant would become stagnant again…

Think about how many people repeat mistakes…. in all aspects of their lives… Then think about how some, the few, go on to make themselves better, to make less mistakes, to learn from their mistakes and become stronger….

Hoping, wanting, and then striving to be THAT person, the one who learns from their mistakes to become stronger, is a miracle that is possible, that is the miracle to seek, that is the miracle that just might already be lurking in place.

May our miracles come to fruition.
