If you are unlucky enough to have a dryer that vents into the house or condo into a tiny bucket of water, do NOT do as I did and forget to empty it, go away for a week, come back and not do laundry for almost another week. Thank goodness we have powerful Hepa filters in our air cleaners to help combat mold spores — and yes, I’m moving them closer to the utility!  : (

You can regift these gifts without offending the giver:

  • a smile
  • a hug
  • a helping hand
  • a good thought or wish
  • a prayer
  • a random act of kindness

You could, of course, be the one to start the gifting, so it can be regifted again and again… and yet again.

Few would argue a simple note, a phone call, stopping at a coworker’s desk, or walking those few steps across the room or yard to talk could make a positive difference to the recipient.

So, why aren’t more of us doing it?
